Welcome to Compass Point Online

 

Our goal is to provide fact based educational classes to adolescents and teens in need. The classes are completed independently in an online presentation/testing format which requires the clients participation and attentiveness in order to successfully complete the class.

Each class costs $50.00 which is paid via our online processor during registration, and clients are allowed to attempt each class 3 times before they must contact us directly for individual instruction.

We currently offer the following classes: 

​

• Drug Intervention and Education (D.I.E)

The DIE class teaches clients the effects of narcotics/alcohol and addiction to the mind and body. This class is appropriate for clients who need to fulfill first offender alcohol and drug education requirements. 

​

• Theft Prevention and Intervention (Shoplifting)

This class teaches clients the social, economic, and legal impact of shoplifting on both the individual and society as a whole. This class is appropriate for clients who need to fulfill probation/diversion requirements related to shoplifting and/or theft crimes.

• ​​​Tobacco/Nicotine Education

The Tobacco/Nicotine Education class teaches clients about the impact of all forms of tobacco/nicotine on the body and mind. Specifically, this class compares and contrasts the effects of smokeless tobacco, cigarettes, and vaping.

• Marijuana Education 

The Marijuana Education class teaches clients the short-term and long- term effects of marijuana on the brain and body both developmentally and physically.

                               

• Vaping & THC Education

The Vaping and THC Education class teaches clients the dangers of all forms of vaping, but specifically addresses the impact of vaping THC on the mind and body.

• Anger Education

The Anger Education class teaches clients how to identify feelings of anger and search for appropriate ways to alleviate those feelings prior to acting on them.

• Juvenile Delinquency Education

The Juvenile Delinquency Education Class teaches clients the dangers of delinquent behaviors such as fighting, gang involvement, shoplifting, etc. from both a social and legal perspective. 

​

• Truancy: The Impact of Being Absent

The Truancy class teaches clients how being absent from school can impact their lives in many ways. Specifically, this class addresses the academic and legal impacts that are often involved when a student misses an above average number of school days. 

​

We provide a proof of completion certificate via email to both the client and the referral source if the class is successfully completed. Each client is provided three chances to complete the test successfully, and they must contact us directly if they are unable to do so.
